The picture in the top left corner of all the pages on this web site is that of the crossBeaTs calling card.
The way this came about is detailed below.

{Early calling card}
Our first 'calling card' was produced around June 1963, when Enid Turner was acting as secteretary to the group.


Later, when John Banner joined in June 1964 as secretary, the card was upgraded - and some text from Revelation added.

Later still in 1964, when the name of the group was changed, a new logo and calling card were produced For this, John Banner went to the design team of Lewis' Department Store in Liverpool, who produced a number of designs. The 'cross and crown' was chosen for general use, along with its incorporation into letter-headed paper and the calling card.
