live at the Catacombs Coffee Bar in Manchester
between 1969 and 1971, from when Joe Roberts joined the group as drummer.
This recording was probably made by Edwin Brain, a helper at the
Catacombs, and contains a variety of songs and introductions. Some of
this may be part of a tape that was made for use at the Catacombs as background
music. The correct introduction does not always precede the correct song.
Some of the songs (tracks 10-15) are from the same session as those on a
previous CD (CB 9), but are taken from a different source (tape). An MP3 download is available for each track. The words of all the songs on this CD are available on this web site, and there is also a page of the chords used. |
