Coffee Bars and Bookings  

This page contains two lists. First, there is a list of coffee bars (and dates) that the crossBeaTs played at, along with any other coffee bars that we have heard about since.  The links give further information. Second, there is a chronological list of the coffee bars in the order the group played at them - and obviously includes repeated bookings.

Barge Inn Coffee Bar 13 Nov 64 This coffee bar run by Cheadle Parish Church seemed to us to be the first of the 'new' form of evangelism which used gospel groups, coffee and a speaker in this way.

The next table below shows all the 'Coffee Bar' bookings of the crossBeaTs in chronological order - at least, those that are known about.  It is the above list with entries repeated at appropriate 'times' - essentially a sub-set of the bookings page.  It may well be, of course, that entries are missing from the bookings page and here.  It may also be that some bookings in the bookings page were not marked as being coffee bars, and so will not be included here.
