We have little recollection of this meeting, except that John Banner had just become manager of the group, and came with us to speak. The 202 mile journey was horrendous - mid December. The M62 had not been built and, though we left home at 11 am on the Sunday morning, we only got to Hull at 4.45 pm. We arrived back home to Liverpool in the early hours of the morning - with 'work' the next day. There is currently (2003) a web site for St Columba, Drypool, Hull. |
