The crossBeaTs only played on one
occasion with Don Summers - at the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool on
28 March 1964.
Don
Summers went on to become a world famous evangelist. As a young man he
was, apparently a plumber, and the youngest member of the 'Magic Circle' in the
UK. Some time after his conversion, he became an evangelist with National
Young Life Campaign (NYLC), and British Youth for Christ. He later
created the Don Summers Evangelistic Association and travelled the world
preaching the Gospel. There is a web site devoted to the 'Don Summers
