Ashton-in-Makerfield (27/29 September and 1 October 1965)

		Ben Smith organised this mission at Ashton-in-Makerfield, near Wigan for the second year running (there had been a similar mission in September/October 1964 - see booking list). This second mission was an experience for us in that the hall was a 'floor' placed over the swimming baths in the town (now no longer in existence). At the meeting on Friday 1 October, at which Gordon Kayes spoke (brother of Richard Kayes), 31 people were counselled.
